The Journeyman Climber is responsible for performing advanced arboricultural climbing operations, including pruning, trimming, and removals in accordance with ANSI A300 standards and industry best practices. This role requires technical climbing expertise, rigging proficiency, and a strong commitment to safety.
The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment in assessing tree health, structural integrity, and risk factors while working collaboratively with ground personnel to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform aerial tree work using modern climbing and rigging techniques

Execute pruning and removals in compliance with ANSI standards

Evaluate tree condition and identify structural defects or hazards

Recommend appropriate arboricultural solutions

Maintain and inspect climbing and rigging equipment

Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company procedures
